Creative Art Materials, LLC Case Settles for $3,000

On September 21, 2016, a case was settled with Creative Art Materials, LLC for selling/manufacturing “Blair Maximum Strength Spray Adhesive” subject to the VOC limit for the Aerosol Web Spray Adhesive category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 55 percent by weight VOC limit for the category. In addition, the containers were not labeled properly in violation of section 94512(d). Excess emissions in this case were approximately 0.02 tons. The company paid $3,000.00 to settle the case.
