$6,190 in Fines Paid by Country Home Products, Inc.

During an internal audit Country Home Products, Inc. of Vergennes, Vermont discovered that several lawn and garden machines equipped with non-California certified engines were shipped into California in 2007.  Country Home Products, Inc. immediately initiated a recall-and-replace program for the uncertified equipment.  Country Home Products, Inc. self-reported these violations to ARB in October 2007 and settled the case in October 2008 for $6,190.
