Core Products Company, Inc. Case Settles for $36,000
Between September 2010 and December 2014, Core Products Company sold, supplied, and offered for sale twelve products which were in violation of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) limits and one product in violation of the Toxic Air Contaminant (TAC) limits contained in ARB’s Consumer Product Regulations. The sale of these thirteen products resulted in 1.2 tons of excess VOC emissions and 0.31 tons of excess TAC emissions. Core Products Company has since stopped selling these products in California and is currently working on reformulating their products. The case was settled on June 4, 2015 for $36,000.
