Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. Case Settles for $10,000.00
Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. has paid $10,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on August 29, 2012. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. vessel Cape Maas, failed to changeover to compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. To settle the case, Columbia Shipmanagement Ltd. agreed to the $10,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
