Clean Control Corporation Settles For $32,130
In October 2022, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement with Clean Control Corporation (Clean Control), with its principal location in Warner Robins, Georgia, in the amount of $32,130 for the company’s violation of CARB’s air quality regulations.
An investigation conducted by CARB staff showed that Clean Control failed to meet the volatile organic compound (VOC) limit requirements for a general-purpose cleaner. CARB documented violations as they related to the Consumer Products Regulation (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 17, § 94500 et seq.).
To settle the case, Clean Control agreed to the penalty of $32,130. Terms of the settlement include a requirement that Clean Control be more rigorous in its compliance of future products. Clean Control fully cooperated with CARB to resolve this matter. The $32,130 will be deposited into CARB’s Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.
