Clay Miranda Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $1,500.00
In July 2013, Clay Miranda Trucking, Inc. agreed to pay $1,500 in penalties; $1,125 to the California Air Pollution Fund and $375 to Peralta Colleges Foundation, for violating air quality regulations.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Clay Miranda Trucking, Inc. failed to properly self-inspect their diesel truck to assure the truck met state emission standards. ARB documented violations as they related to the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program. To settle the case, Clay Miranda Trucking, Inc. agreed to the $1,500 penalty and to comply with the all ARB programs.
