$4,000 in Fines Paid by Char-Broil, LLC

On December 18, 2007, Char-Broil, LLC entered into a settlement agreement with ARB and paid $4,000 to resolve violations of the Consumer Products Regulations. From January through July 7, 2007, Char-Broil, LLC sold, supplied, and offered for sale in California Char-Broil Sure2Burn Fire Starter Packs and Thermos Sure2Burn Fire Starter Packs subject to the emission limits for charcoal lighter material. These products did not possess an Executive Order certifying the charcoal lighter material formulation as specified in the regulations. This case was closed in December 2007.
