CFMOTO Powersports, Inc. Settlement
CFMOTO Powersports, Inc. Case Settles for $24,000
In August 2010 staff from the Mobile Source Enforcement Section of the Air Resources Board (ARB) discovered that CFMOTO Powersports, Inc. (CFMOTO) introduced into commerce several 2009 model-year motorcycles that did not go through the ARB certification process. Subsequently, these motorcycles were sold through a dealer network and were registered by the Department of Motor Vehicles for use in California.
CFMOTO fully cooperated with ARB in the investigation. The case was settled in May 2012 for twenty four thousand dollars ($24,000).
