Cambridge Diagnostics Products, INC. Settles for $6,000.00

In August 2019, the California Air Resources Board and Cambridge Diagnostics Products, Incorporated, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $6,000.00.  Cambridge Diagnostic Products, Inc. sold, supplied, offered for sale and/or manufactured a spot remover product for use in California containing concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations (17CCR), section 94509(a).  There was a VOC violation that resulted in 0.09 tons of excess VOC emissions.  Additionally, the product did not have a date of manufacture, as required in 17CCR section 94512(b).  To come into compliance, Cambridge Diagnostics Products, Incorporated is placing the date of manufacture on the product container, and has reformulated the stain remover product.
