C & S Wholesale Grocers Case Settles for $3,900.00

On October 30, 2013, a Consumer Products case was settled with C& S Wholesale Grocers Inc. for selling and/or supplying diverted non-compliant Hair Spray into California. This product was formulated and labeled by the manufacturer for the Canadian marketplace. This product t contributed 19.0 pounds of excess Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) emissions due to exceeding the 55% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Hair Sprays. C & S Wholesale Grocers Inc. paid $3,900 to settle this case.
