Brentwood Beauty Laboratories International, Inc. Case Settles for $42,800.00

On October 2, 2012, a case with Brentwood Beauty Laboratories International, Inc., was settled for selling into California non-compliant Proclaim Hot Thermal Styler Spray that exceeded the 6 percent VOC limit by weight for aerosol and pump spray hair styling products. From 2009 to 2012, the products were sold, resulting in 4.74 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. Brentwood Beauty Laboratories International, Inc. agreed to pay $42,800.00 to settle the case.
