Public Webinar on In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation: On November 16 via remote access, CARB will host a public webinar on the In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle Regulation (Off-Road Regulation). This course will provide detailed information to fleet owners on the Off-Road Regulation and the importance of compliance. The goal of the Off-Road Regulation is to reduce NOx emissions and requires fleet owners to label their off-road vehicles and reduce emissions from their older equipment. This course will cover the applicability of the Off-Road Regulation, current requirements, future compliance deadlines, and an overview of the Diesel Off-Road Online Reporting System.
Board Meeting: On November 17-18 in Sacramento and via webcast, the Board will hear the following agenda items: 1)South Coast Air Quality Management District Coachella Valley 75 ppb 8-Hour Ozone Reasonable Further Progress Sate Implementation Plan; 2) proposed contract with the University of California, Davis entitled, “Research Study: Impacts and implications of California Housing and Transportation Costs;” 3) proposed contract with the University of California, Davis entitled, “Research Study: State of Zero-Emission Vehicle Secondary Market and Accessibility Impacts in California's Underserved Communities;” 4) proposed amendments to the In-Use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation; 5) proposed Fiscal Year 2022-23 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives accompanied by proposed Carl Moyer Program changes; and 6) proposed In-Use Locomotive Regulation.
