One-Stop Truck Event: On June 11 in Oakland, CA, CARB will host a One-Stop Truck Event. Participants will receive information on on-road and off-road regulations, the Vehicle and Engine Certification and Compliance Program, medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicle programs, the Heavy-Duty Inspection and Maintenance Program, zero-emission technology and ways to build zero-emission fleets, and funding opportunities. Featured sessions will include a virtual enforcement inspection demonstration as well as a California Highway Patrol’s basic inspection of terminals presentation. One-on-one assistance will also be available.
Senate Bill (SB) 1075 Lancaster Community Meeting: On June 11 in Lancaster, CA, CARB will host a community meeting to support the development of a report on hydrogen production and use in California, as called for by Senate Bill (SB) 1075 (Skinner, Chapter 363, Statutes of 2022). SB 1075 requires an evaluation of hydrogen production, transmission, distribution, and end use to accelerate progress toward the State’s climate and energy goals. Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee Meeting: On June 12 in Sacramento and via remote access, CARB will host a public meeting for the Assembly Bill 32 Environmental Justice Advisory Committee (EJAC). The committee is comprised of representatives from California communities most heavily impacted by air pollution. This upcoming meeting will include a public comment period.
Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Program New Options Workgroup: On June 13 via remote access, CARB will host the Innovative Small E-Fleet Pilot Program New Options Workgroup. It will focus on emerging solutions currently under evaluation as outlined in the Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives for Fiscal Year 2024-2025. Staff are exploring the development of a Used Truck Voucher Pilot concept, advanced fleet management assistance, and insurance. More information can be found on the Notice.
