Community Engagement Model Public Dialogue Sessions: On January 17 via remote access, and January 18 in Riverside, CARB will host public dialogue sessions in order to improve community engagement efforts and ask for the public’s expertise and input. A Community Engagement Model is being developed in collaboration with community members to help CARB staff create and implement robust engagement plans. The purpose of this model is to help staff as they work on projects, policies, programs, and regulations. These sessions are part of an effort to develop a consistent approach to community engagement and build strong relationships with communities in order to ensure equitable outcomes for all Californians. Two other dialogue sessions are scheduled to take place later in the month.
