Public Meeting to discuss proposed updates to the Carl Moyer Program Guidelines: On January 14 staff will hold a virtual meeting to discuss Proposed Revisions to the Carl Moyer Program for Off-Road Equipment, Locomotives, Marine Vessels, Lawn and Garden Equipment Replacement, and to Initiate a 45-Day Public Comment Period.These updates are intended to clarify and expand funding opportunities for zero-emission projects, align the Moyer Program Guidelines with recent CARB regulatory developments, and ensure continued commitment with Executive Order N-27-25. Workshop to Discuss Concepts for the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative – On January 15 staff will host a virtual public workshop to discuss concepts for the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative. Some of the concepts that will be discussed include strategies to reduce emissions from Auxiliary Power Units, transitioning to zero-emission Ground Support Equipment, and operational strategies to reduce emissions from aircraft taxiing, takeoffs, and landings.
