Introduction to the Roadmap to Reduce Air Toxics: On Aug. 25via remote access, CARB will hold a public workshop introducing the Roadmap to Reduce Air Toxics. The Roadmap is a guiding document for future actions to reduce toxic air pollution, with an emphasis on equity and community air protection. The workshop will provide a detailed overview of the Roadmap, outline next steps in its development, and offer opportunities for public input.

Corporate GHG Reporting Listening Session 4: On Aug. 26 via remote access, CARB will host a stakeholder listening session as part of the Corporate Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program authorized under SB 253 and SB 219. This session continues CARB’s series of topic‑specific engagements aimed at gathering input on regulatory concepts, reporting methodologies, and data assurance considerations from companies involved in generating electricity, renewable energy, water and gas utilities, transportation, and waste management. Development of this program is intended to establish reporting requirements for Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions beginning in 2027, along with CARB’s proposed long-term plan for Scope 3 reporting.

MyFirstEV Incentive Project Workgroup: On Aug. 27 via remote access, CARB will host a workgroup meeting for the MyFirstEV Incentive Project.The meeting will cover program background, including legislative funding approved in the FY 2026–27 State Budget, point‑of‑sale incentives access, and updates from participating manufacturers. The agenda includes: (1) Project details and how to access incentives, (2) Manufacturer incentive status and progress to date, and (3) Next steps and conclusion.

SB 905 Community Listening Session: Carbon Capture, Removal, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS): On Aug. 27 in Stockton, key CARB staff will attend an in‑person community listening session focusing on carbon capture, removal, utilization, and storage, as outlined in the statewide SB 905 CCUS Program. The SB 905 CCUS Program supports California’s climate goals by addressing carbon pollution in sectors where emissions have no feasible alternatives and by evaluating safe long‑term storage options. The session will include: (1) An open house featuring informational materials, (2) Short presentations (3) A Q&A section with agency staff, and (4) An opportunity for attendees to provide comments.
