Evening Community Meeting: Clean Transportation Incentives: On Aug. 18 via remote access, CARB staff will host an Evening Community Meeting focused on clean transportation incentives. The meeting will include the following agenda items: (1) Recap of the July Clean Off‑Road Equipment Voucher Incentive (CORE) Implementation Workgroup, (2) Recap of the first Transportation Refrigeration Unit (TRU) Regulation Concepts Development Workshop, (3) Planning for future evening community meetings, and (4) Discussion of upcoming clean transportation events and next steps.

California Corporate Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program Listening Session: On Aug. 19 via remote access, CARB will hold a virtual listening session to gather sector-specific stakeholder feedback on the California Corporate Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program authorized by Senate Bill (SB) 253. This session is the third in a series of six planned listening sessions and will include: (1) Discussion of SB 253 greenhouse gas reporting requirements, including upcoming Scope 1 and Scope 2 obligations, (2) Input from food and beverage sector stakeholders on implementation needs and challenges, and (3) Engagement on future Scope 3 reporting considerations to help refine regulatory concepts and guidance for the sector.

Implementation Workgroup Meeting and Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project: On Aug. 19 via remote access, CARB staff will participate in the Implementation Workgroup Meeting to discuss updates to the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026‑27 Clean Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project. The agenda will include: (1) Updates to the FY 2026‑27 HVIP Funding Plan, (2) Review of proposed changes to the FY 2026‑27 HVIP Implementation Manual, and (3) Discussion of the FY 2026‑27 Long‑Term Heavy‑Duty Investment Strategy, which includes planning for incentives to support low‑carbon freight and bus deployment.
