Evening Community Meeting: On April 21 via remote access, CARB will host its monthly evening community meeting to provide updates on Clean Transportation Incentives. CARB staff will discuss updates about incentive project funding and implementation for zero-emission transportation and mobility projects. In this meeting, topics will include: (1) An Introduction to Drive Forward Truck Forum on Infrastructure, (2) A Recap of Drive Forward Heavy-Duty Incentives and Fiscal Year 2025-26 and 2026-27 AQIP Funding Plan Workshop, (3) California Climate Investments: New Priority Populations Supplemental Guidance Document for Funding Guidelines, (4) A New CARB Construction Emission Reduction Tool, and (5) Future Events.
CARB Study Session: On April 23-24 in Marshall, CARB will host a study session to allow Board members and the public to engage in more detailed discussions for educational and strategic planning purposes. At this session, the Board will hear an overview of California’s carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) landscape and its role in achieving the state’s climate goals. The Board will also hear from a panel of experts about California’s air toxics program, including why air toxics are important to address, and a brief background of the program and its successes and current challenges. Lastly, the board will hear from a panel discussing transportation incentives.
