BlueCo Brands Case Settles for $6,000

On October 29, 2014, a case was settled with BlueCo Brands for selling/manufacturing Ship-Shape Professional Surface and Appliance Cleaner subject to the VOC limit for General Purpose Cleaners: Non-Aerosol category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 0.5 percent by weight VOC limit. Excess emissions in this case were approximately 0.25 tons. The company paid $6000.00 to settle the case.
