Blandi Products LLC and TPR Holdings LLC Case Settles for $13,400

On June 30, 2017, a Consumer Products case, CP16-04-01, was settled with Blandi Products LLC and TPR Holdings LLC for selling, supplying or offering for sale three non‑compliant hair styling products between 2011 and 2015. These products, Oscar Blandi Pronto Dry Styling Heat Protect Spray,Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture and Volume Spray, andOscar Blandi Volumizing Spray, all exceeded the 6% volatile organic compounds (VOC) limit for the “Hair Styling Product: aerosol and pump spray” category and resulted in combined 1.34 tons of excess VOC emissions. After considering the financial burden of the company, our originally assessed penalty based on tonnage was reduced. TPR Holdings LLC has since agreed to pay $13,400.00 to settle this case.
