Bamford Transport, Inc./J.W. Bamford Inc. Case Settles for $1,125

Bamford Transport, Inc./J.W. Bamford Inc. will pay $1,125.00in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $1,125.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality. This settlement was reached in November 2017.

An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Bamford Transport, Inc./J.W. Bamford Inc. failed to report all vehicles with engines subject to the regulation for which the fleet owner has elected to utilize the compliance options of the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation. ARB documented violations as they related to the TB Regulation.  To settle the case, Bamford Transport, Inc./J.W. Bamford Inc. agreed to the $1,125.00 penalty and to comply with TB and other ARB programs.
