Attwood Corporation Case Settles for $3,450.00

On October 1, 2012, a case was settled with Attwood Corporation for selling “Attwood Premium Vinyl Cleaner and Polish” subject to the VOC limit for Rubber and Vinyl Protectant, non-aerosol category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The product contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 3 percent by weight VOC limit. There were approximately 0.20 tons of excess emissions and the company paid $3,450.00 to settle the case.
