Aquarosa Shipping A/S C/O V. Ships USA LLC Case Settles for $3,250.00

Aquarosa Shipping A/S C/O V. Ships USA LLC paid $3,250.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on October 29, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that Aquarosa Shipping A/S vessel Aquarosa, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in April of 2013. Aquarosa Shipping A/S took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Aquarosa Shipping A/S C/O V. Ships USA LLC agreed to the $3,250.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
