$3,375 in Fines Paid by Andrades Trucking

Andrades Trucking paid $3,375 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $2,531.25 went to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $843.75 to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges.  This settlement was reached in December 2008.  An investigation by the ARB showed that Andrades Trucking failed to properly self-inspect the portion of their diesel powered vehicle fleet that falls under the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP).  To settle the case, Andrades Trucking agreed to the $3,375 penalty and to comply with the PSIP.
