Amann USA Case Settles for $11,310

On May 15, 2015, a case was settled with Amann USA for selling/manufacturing “Web Bond TA 101” and “Tempo” subject to the VOC limit for the Aerosol Adhesives: Web Spray category, title 17, California Code of Regulations, section 94509(a). The products contained concentrations of VOC’s exceeding the 55 percent by weight VOC limit for the category. Furthermore, the products did not display the category or the VOC limit as required under section 94512(d) of the regulations. Excess emissions in this case were approximately 0.42 tons. The company paid $11,310.00 to settle the case.
