AMA Marketing & Management, Inc Case Settles for $500
In November 2014, AMA MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT, INC. paid $500.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $375.00 went to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $125.00 went to the Peralta Colleges Foundation to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) program.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that AMA MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT, INC. failed to timely report their diesel truck to assure the trucks met state compliance requirements for the Truck and Bus regulation (STB). ARB documented a violation of reporting as they related to STB. To settle the case, AMA MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT, INC. agreed to the $500.00 penalty and to comply with the PSIP other ARB programs.
