$5,000 in Fines Paid by All City Bus Lines

All City Bus Lines paid $5,000 in penalties ($3,750 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $1,250 to the Peralta Community College District for distribution to participating California Council on Diesel Education and Technology (CCDET) colleges), for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached in October 2008.  An investigation by the ARB showed that All City Bus Lines failed to properly self-inspect the portion of their diesel powered vehicle fleet that falls under the Periodic Smoke Inspection Program (PSIP).  To settle the case, All City Bus Lines agreed to the $5,000 penalty and to comply with the PSIP.
