Alfa Ship Managers Pte. Ltd. Case Settles for $6,300.00

Alfa Ship Managers Pte. Ltd. has paid $6,300.00 in penalties to the Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on August 20, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Alfa Ship Managers Pte. Ltd. vessel, Red Seto, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. Alfa Ship Managers Pte. Ltd. took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Alfa Ship Managers Pte. Ltd. agreed to the $6,300.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
