$7,000 in Fines Paid by Alfa Parf

During several inspections conducted between June 2003 and March 2005, samples of non-complying hair care products manufactured by B.I.P. Incorporated Alfa Parf (Alfa Parf) were obtained. Inixia Lacca Ecologica Srong Hairspray, Semi Di Lino Cristalli Illuminating Hairspray and Inixia Gel Extra Strong Gel were found to contain volatile organic compounds that exceeded the appropriate limits. Alfa Parf settled this case with a payment of $7,000 on March 27, 2006.
