Alan Berman Trucking, Inc. Case Settles for $2,400.00
In December 2012, Alan Berman Trucking, Inc. (Berman Trucking) agreed to pay. $2,400.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $1,800.00 goes to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality; $600.00 goes to Peralta Community College District to fund emission education classes conducted by participating California community colleges, under the California Council for Diesel Education and Technology program.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Berman Trucking failed to comply with the Truck and Bus Regulation. ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus Regulation. To settle the case, Berman Trucking agreed to the $2,400.00 penalty and to comply with the Truck and Bus Regulation and other ARB programs.
