On December 21, 2006 Advanced ATV Motorbike Inc. of Ontario was issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) for offering for sale and selling uncertified off-highway recreational vehicles (OHRV's). The illegal vehicles still in their possession were subsequently returned to the distributor and/or manufacturer. The company settled the case on March 7, 2007 for $2,000.
