2022 - Assembly Bill 2737 (Carrillo, Wendy), Air Pollution: Purchase of New Drayage and Short-Haul Trucks: Incentive Programs: Lessees: Labor Standards (Chaptered)
Exempts rental and leasing entities from labor requirements imposed on applicable fleet purchasers that participate in CARB’s heavy-duty vehicle incentive programs. The bill also clarifies that lessees must still comply with relevant labor laws in order to participate in the aforementioned incentive programs.
