2022 - Assembly Bill 2350 (Wilson, Lori), Vehicular Air Pollution: Zero-Emission Aftermarket Conversion Project (Dead)
Incentives, Low and Zero Emission Vehicles and Infrastructure
Office of Legislative Affairs
Would have required CARB to establish the Zero-Emission Aftermarket Conversion Project to provide an applicant with a rebate for the aftermarket conversion of a motor vehicle into a zero-emission vehicle. This bill would have redirected $2 million annually from the Clean Vehicle rebate Project to fund this program. This bill would have also required CARB to ensure that only conversions with at least 100 miles in range are eligible for the incentive. Held on suspense in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
