Summary

Would require the Department of Transportation to develop a pilot program for the purpose of issuing a special permit for specified vehicles hauling raw milk. The bill would require the fuel used in permitted vehicles to have an LCFS carbon intensity rating of 65 or lower and require the Department of Transportation, in consultation with CARB, to submit a report to the Legislature identifying among other things, the emission reductions as a result of the program. Was not heard in the Assembly Transportation Committee.
