Summary
Would have required CARB to increase the incentives provided by the Clean Cars 4 All Program by 50 percent if the recipient is a “super commuter” and uses the incentive to replace their vehicle with a zero-emission vehicle. The bill would have defined a super commuter as someone who drives at least 50 miles one way to work at least four times per week, or drives at least 25,000 miles per year. The bill would have also directed CARB to develop a method for a person to demonstrate that they satisfy one or both of the requirements to be considered a super commuter and thus qualify for the increased incentive amount. Was not heard in the Assembly Transportation Committee.
