Summary
Would have codified the requirement that California install at least 1 million electric vehicle charging ports by December 31, 2030. This would have been achieved through both an existing electric vehicle charging infrastructure assessment being conducted by the California Energy Commission, and investor‑owned utility programs on transportation electrification administered by the California Public Utilities Commission. Was not heard in the Assembly Utilities and Energy Committee.
