Simoniz USA, Inc. Case Settles for $8,800

On October 25, 2016, a case was settled Simoniz USA, Inc. for selling/manufacturing Simoniz Cleaning Wipes, which contained concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) exceeding the 0.5 percent VOC limits for the General Purpose Cleaner category specified in the California Code of Regulations, title 17, section 94509(a).  These violations caused approximately 0.29 tons of excess emissions. The company paid $8,800 to settle the case.
