Scepter Corporation is a manufacturer of portable fuel containers. On February 4, 2004, Enforcement Division staff conducted an office conference with the President and Product Manager for a case against Scepter Corporation. Scepter had manufactured portable fuel containers that did not meet the permeation requirement of the Portable Fuel Container and Spouts Regulations. They agreed to settle this case and submitted a check for $10,000. The settlement agreement was signed on February 24, 2004.
