CARB staff maintains a list of mills that have been identified by CARB-approved third-party certifiers (TPCs) as producers of composite wood products (panels of hardwood plywood, medium density fiberboard, and particleboard) that comply with CARB's formaldehyde emission standards. The list is a tool to help the regulated community locate mills that are producing compliant materials for purposes of fabrication of finished goods or resale in California. The list is provided for informational purposes only and does not represent any endorsement by CARB. CARB staff updates the list every month.
Note: The mills identified in the Certified Mills List may also produce composite wood products that do not comply with CARB's formaldehyde emission standards. Composite wood products that are not intended for sale in California do not need to be CARB compliant.
