Project Update
CARB received $30M through legislative appropriation to conduct mobile monitoring across the state. CARB staff are currently developing a technical Scope of Work and will be initiating the procurement solicitation process with our oversight agency in the coming weeks. Due to the contract’s high dollar amount, CARB’s partner control agency will lead the release of a Request for Proposal to solicit proposals for completing the tasks outlined in the contract. CARB intends to include meaningful and inclusive community engagement and outreach throughout the scope of the contract and ensure CARB and our contractors are transparent and responsive to community stakeholders. However, given the competitive nature of RFPs and due to the Scope of Work currently being in draft form, we are unable to provide details contained within the draft Scope of Work at this time. We anticipate that there will be opportunities for open discussion and questions with interested bidders as part of a forthcoming solicitation process.
