Drybar Holdings LLC / Drybar Products LLC Settles For $155,380.00

In April 2020, the California Air Resources Board and Drybar Holdings LLC / Drybar Products LLC (Drybar), of Irvine, California, reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $155,380.00.  Drybar sold, supplied, offered for sale and/or manufactured two aerosol hair styling products for use in California containing concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in title 17 California Code of Regulation, section 94509(a).  The violation resulted in 9.14 tons of excess VOC emissions.  To come into compliance, Drybar has modified their product for commerce in California.
