First American Brands Settlement - $4,000

From December 2002 through January 2003, staff purchased samples of Beverly Hills Country Club Deo Spray for Lady and for Men from Big Lots stores in Santa Ana and North Highlands, California. On May 15, 2003, a Report of Violation (ROV) was issued to First American Brands, Incorporated for manufacturing approximately 12,928 units of non-compliant deodorants for sale in California. On November 10, 2003, the case settled for $4,000.
