$6,000 in Fines Paid by Quast Tree Service, Inc.

In May 2008, Quast Tree Service, Inc. paid $6,000 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund for violating air quality regulations.  An ARB investigation, triggered by whistle blower information, showed that Quast Tree Service, Inc. failed to properly self-inspect the portion of their diesel truck fleet that falls under PSIP.  To settle the case, Quast Tree Service, Inc. agreed to the $6,000 penalty and to comply with all applicable ARB regulations.
