Top of the Line Case Settles for $5,000

On January 13, 2010, Top of the Line settled the alleged violations of the Consumer Products Regulations for $5,000.  During 2008, Top of the Line sold, supplied, or offered for sale in California the Top of the line Black Velvet Black Velvet Pure Brazilian Carnauba Wax product that did not meet the 45 percent VOC limit for the “Automotive Wax, Polish, Sealant or Glaze” category.  In addition, this product did not possess a date of manufacture are required under the Consumer Products Regulations.
