Genlabs Manufacturing, Inc. Case Settles for $3,000

Between April 2008 and October 2011, Genlabs Corporation supplied Gorm Spray & Wipe Cleaner/Degreaser product that contained VOCs in excess of the 4% limit for General Purpose Degreasers in California. The product was mislabeled with incorrect use instructions. The label has since been corrected. The violation resulted in 128 pounds of excess VOC emissions being released in California. The case was settled on June 11, 2012 for $3,000.
