Cal Mex International Brokers Case Settles for $300,000.00
Mex-Cal Truckline, Inc agreed to pay $300,000 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $300,000 will go to the California Air Pollution Control Fund. This settlement was reached in November 2012.
An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Mex-Cal Truckline violated the drayage regulation by dispatching noncompliant trucks to intermodal rail yards and ports in 2011 and 2012. To settle this case, Mex-Cal Truckline agreed to the $300,000 penalty and to comply with all Air Resources Board regulations.
