Light-duty Transportation and Clean Mobility Incentives

The California Air Resources Board has implemented the following programs providing incentives and funding for light-duty vehicles, equipment and activities related to zero-emission transportation and clean mobility options within communities.

  • Low Carbon Transportation Investments – Light-duty Equity and Clean Mobility: A suite of transportation equity projects aimed at increasing access to clean transportation and mobility options for priority populations. This includes funding for clean vehicle purchasing projects, clean mobility investments, streamlining access to funding and financing opportunities, and increasing community outreach, education and exposure to clean technologies.
  • Community Air Protection Incentives Program: Provides grants to reduce emissions by funding cleaner vehicles, zero-emission infrastructure, community exposure reduction projects, and enables air districts to develop novel incentive projects in partnership with communities under Assembly Bill 617.
  • Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program: Provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, vehicles, equipment, infrastructure and other sources of air pollution.
