Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force Executive Committee Meeting: On Jan. 20, Chief Counsel Shannon Dilley and Deputy Executive Officer Rajinder Sahota will attend the virtual Governors’ Climate and Forests Task Force Executive Committee Meeting, a subnational collaboration of states and provinces working to protect tropical forests and reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation. A meeting agenda will be provided by Jan. 16.

Evening Community Meeting: Clean Transportation Incentives for a Cleaner California: On Jan. 20, via remote access, CARB will host its monthly evening community meeting to provide updates on Clean Transportation Incentives. During these meetings, CARB staff will discuss updates about incentive project funding and implementation for zero-emission transportation and mobility projects. These projects help improve air quality and reduce the impact of climate change. We encourage community members to ask questions, provide suggestions, and give input on their clean transportation needs. In this month’s meeting CARB staff will present on four topics: (1) Drive Forward: Incentives Workshop Recap, (2) Drive Forward: Heavy Duty Vehicle Workshop Recap, (3) Reflection: 2025 Evening Community Meetings, and (4) Future Events, Wrap Up, and Next Steps.
