Dailley Freight Services and Consulting, Ltd. Settles For $47,363
In May 2025, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement with Dailley Freight Services and Consulting, Ltd. (DFS Projects), with its principal location in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada for the company’s violation of the Regulation to Reduce Emissions of Diesel Particulate Matter, Oxides of Nitrogen and Other Criteria Pollutants, from In-Use Heavy-Duty Diesel-Fueled Vehicles (Truck and Bus Regulation), as codified in the California Code of Regulations, title 13, section 2025.
An investigation conducted by CARB staff revealed that DFS Projects was operating a vehicle that violated the in-use requirements of the Truck and Bus Regulation by failing to maintain a legible Emissions Contral Label (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 13, § 2025 et seq.). The terms of the settlement include a requirement for DFS Projects to pay a penalty of $47,363, which is suspended, unless DFS brings the vehicle that is the subject of this violation back into California.
DFS Projects fully cooperated with CARB to resolve this matter. If the penalty amount should become due and payable, it will be deposited into CARB’s Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.
