Public Workshop on 2022 Scoping Plan Update: On March 15 via remote access, CARB will host a public workshop on the 2022 Scoping Plan Update. At this workshop, researchers from the University of California, Santa Barbara and the Rhodium Group will discuss their work on developing a climate vulnerability metric for the State. The project is aimed at identifying geographic regions in California that face disproportionate impacts from climate change. This meeting is part of a series of workshops CARB is hosting to assess progress towards achieving the 2030 target in Senate Bill (SB) 32 (Pavely, 2006) and lay out a path to achieve carbon neutrality no later than 2045 (SB 100, De León, 2018).
Public Workshop for Clean Transportation Incentives: On March 15 via remote access, CARB will hold a public workshop to discuss the fiscal year 2022-23 Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Participants will receive an overview of the proposed budget and the proposed investments from the Air Quality Improvement fund as well as Low Carbon Transportation investments. CARB staff will highlight the long-term plans for both the light-duty clean transportation equity projects as well as the heavy-duty and off-road equipment investments and strategy.
Public Webinar on Truck and Bus Rule, Off-Road Regulation, and Portable Equipment Compliance Overview Webinar: On March 17 via webcast, CARB staff will hold a public webinar on compliance for the Truck and Bus Rule, Off-Road regulation, and the Portable Equipment Registration Program (PERP). The course will cover online reporting, current requirements and future deadlines for both the GHG Reporting regulation and the Off-Road Diesel Vehicle regulation, and eligibility and requirements for PERP.
Public Webinar on Innovative Clean Transit Reporting Tool: On March 18 via webcast, CARB will hold a public webinar and demonstration for transit agencies on the updated Innovative Clean Transit Reporting Tool (ICTRT). The Innovative Clean Transit Regulation requires all California transit agencies to annually submit and update their agency and bus fleet information to the online-based ICTRT. Along with a staff led demonstration, the webinar will provide an overview of the reporting tool, information on how the information is used, user account creation, and procedures for uploading bus inventory.
